As a graduate student , I have the opportunity to mentor an undergraduate in ecological research during the spring semester. The SUPER program (Skills for Undergraduate Participation in Ecological Research) in the Natural Resource Ecology Laboratory provides opportunities for undergraduate students to get involved in ecological research. My mentorship philosophy is to lead with enthusiasm, allow for independence and exploration while providing a research experience that spans from conception of the experiment to analysis of the results. If you are and undergraduate student at Colorado State University interested in working on soil food webs, fire ecology, or biogeochemistry, I'd be happy to work with you. Please get in touch!
